New uniforms
 

Rumor has it new uniforms will be announced tomorrow and will be in service 9/30. There might be scarves of different colors: CP (red), DP (pink), AP/CA (green). Sources say they're clip-on.

I can indeed confirm that tomorrow the new uniforms will be shown from 1330 until 1600 local Taipei time.

Red and pink...two colors that fits BR.:rolleyes::rolleyes: I just hope it isn't as ugly/poor quality as the CI ones.

Colors seem odd, but EVA uniforms do look woefully out of date.

Thanks for the link. Green is not my choice of color for attire, but I think the design is rather smart and the collars or scarves in different colors add a nice accent. Definitely an improvement from the current uniform which must be close to 15 year old now. On a side note, I like how they have their just-retired 747 in the background. ^

IMO they still look like Japanese style and still look better than the new CI ones.

I wonder if they will keep the aprons. There were no showings of aprons. Perhaps they are keeping the same one?

EDIT: The aprons are staying. I guess the news article left out that photo but you can see them in the background of the last photo behind the galley carts.

Uniforms will be debuted in November!

I hope they won't have problems when they come out like the CI one(i.e. armpits showing, nipples showing, too tight around the chest, dye is bleeding through etc)

Overall, I like it. The darker green, use of scarves, the jackets with asymmetric buttons. The one issue I have is the version with the red accents, the tunic itself appears to be rather plain. However overall it is a much-needed update.

Not a drastic change but huge improvement.

The green matches well with Eva Air but looks too odd.

Much prefer the new Hainan airlines uniform.

When they went darker-green last time, they said they were more mature so it got darker. Looks like they are even more mature now :D Funny thing is that when they first started, the planes also had the dark green.

Slight difference, I don't really like it either.

Hainan did a great job just like NH did when it changed it's uniforms.
