Flying BR - Where to bank points?
Another BR-related question for a possible round-trip from YYZ-TPE...
Wondering if it would be better to bank my earned points in BR's Infinity Mileagelands or Air Canada's Aeroplan.
IM Pros:
- could use points for upgrades from TPE to HKG
- status match from CX MPG (maybe?)
IM Cons:
- points disappear after 2 years
AP Pros:
- points can be banked indefinitely
- easy top-ups from my Canadian credit cards
AP Cons:
- availability of reward seats/upgrades on BR?
Note that I don't have status with either AP or IM, only Marco Polo Gold with CX. And while I tend to avoid Air Canada, their direct flights to Asia in PE aren't entirely out of the question.
Any insights would be most appreciated; thanks in advance!

It's come to my attention that I already asked a nearly-identical question in this very forumwith SQ in place of AC. Mods, feel free to delete...
