Only Longhaul flights and TPE-BKK, no matter if it is an onwards flight to Europe or not, does not get the Rimowa kits.

No. I meant TPE-BKK does not have Rimowa or PJs, even if the flight is going onwards/comig back from Europe.

I noticed FA puts a kit in an occupied seat. They don't put a kit in unoccupied seat. I looked around and noticed only blankets and head phone but no kit in empty RL seat.

The kits are tightly controlled so that each person only gets one and someone not deserving of one doesnt get one.

On several flights I have been on, after most of the J cabin is done boarding, they usually have a wheeled cart that they use to dispense the kits to each passenger, and sometimes they do this at the same time as giving out a set of PJs.

I've asked for two sets of PJs before and it's never an issue; however, they will ever only give out one kit as you mentioned.

PJs is not that tightly controlled. Rimowa kits are rather expensive in their mind so they load just enough for everyone.

They say each kit costs 1500 NT to make. Not sure I believe it.

They have to license the Rimowa brand. That's probably where most of the cost comes from; not the actual material.

I've done the same. On my recent trip from TPE to SFO I asked for two sets of PJs no problem. When I asked for a second Rimowa amenity kit they said that they tightly control them and can't give out extras.

That's shockingly high, unbelievable. Who shared that cost to you?

Considering how expensive Rimowa luggages are(even mass orders) and the need to fill the inside with amenities(another extra process), NT1500 is not surprising.

I'm just surprised then why BR just doesn't ditch Rimowa kits altogether.
