Eva Air Awards Program

Like to hear from some Eva flyers about what are the pluses and minuses of their Frequent Flyer Program.

Thanks

Big minus: Miles have a limited lifetime regardless of account activity. So your mileage balance is only a rolling sum of the previous 36 (?) months worth of travel, so use them quickly.

If you're an UA 1K, stick with UA

Though the devaluation hurt big time, I'm sure the evaluation still makes better sense than BR'S

BR has one of the more stingy award program.

No roll over. And takes 85k miles just to get star gold.

Can't stick with an airline that does not fly where I go for $25,000 a year( BKK) and makes my 1K GPU's worthless for the same reason.

I fly EVA because they have a good product for the price. I fly on my own dollars, so this maters.

The rewards program is certainly nothing special. But if you fly regularly, it is not hard to spend the miles before they expire. My problem is that I usually spend them to fast.
