No seats will offer as much as space as bulkhead or exit.

Just saw an announcement from BR...it seems a little strange:

Pajama service started 7/16 on 77A routes to US/Canada and on all US/Canada routes with RL/PL on 8/6

New color Rimowa starts immediately on JFK/LAX 77As, 8/1 on all US/Canada RL/PL 77A/77N routes except for SEA. SEA starts 8/6. YVR does not get it, it seems.

I received the EVA pajamas and Prosecco color Rimowa on 77A RL late June.

That is what I had expected and why I thought the announcement is a little strange.

I flew from TPE to YYZ in RL last Sat and receive the green Rimowa kit (same color as the one I got when I flew from YYZ to TPE in June). I was also offered EVA pajamas from TPE to YYZ but wasn't from YYZ to TPE.

I also read in their magazine that there are Wifi avaiable now on their New York to TPE route and you can ask for a 15 mins complimentary code if you are flying J class. I didn't end up asking them if it's availabe for flight to/from YYZ, but it would be cool if they have that!

Any thoughts on front or back cabin for RL seating?

The back cabin seems smaller, which usually means more intimate / better service. Does this hold true on Eva 777?

Does either cabin provide quicker meal service (I may want to maximize sleep times on overnight Europe->Asia).

Thanks.

I noticed quicker meal service when I "booked the cook" (pre-ordered my meal) as something not in the default choices list. (choose one of the "asterisk meals)

I am usually in 11K. The back cabin normally has less passengers, less attentive service.

You may get quicker meal service, since you decide how fast you go through your meal. However the FAs still have to serve other passengers, so there will be serving traffic in the aisle. Expect at least 2 hours after departure before they turn down the cabin light (after duty free sales).
They start turning on the lights for refreshing meals about 2.5 hours before landing, you may sleep through and have your meal ~ 1 hour before landing.

Thanks for the info on meal timing. I will be on BR7 out of SFO, with a departure time of 12:05am. Was curious when things would be settled down in the RL cabin. Looks like it will indeed be a late night, at least on Pacific time.

Thanks for this tip. I will take a look at the choices and see how it goes.

OK, that makes sense. I don't sleep all that well with movement and lights, so maybe I will just go with the flow and have a leisurely meal anyway.

No window seats are available now to select in the front cabin, so it was a choice between a middle in the front or a window in the back cabin. With aisle access, I usually prefer a window.

Any thought about my choices? ie 2G versus 9K?

I would like to select a seat based on the order of food service. Which seat is the first to be served, and which last? This is RL (SFO|LAX)-TPE-SIN and back. I would like to be among the first served to avoid potentially running out of option (I know I can preorder) and to finish faster.

Just after boarding / take off, cabin leader would get meal preference from those people who have not preordered. They normally serve from front to back (seats 1-7) and (seats 8-11).
