I have flown on the kitty several times.

I got to say it gets tiring after a while- especially the x-mas time when they change the video. Those songs gets into your brain and can't be wiped.

That is when you know the power of Hello Kitty

Today the TW news said they now have dogs checking the BR CDG and CI FRA flights for explosives. I know this is not a funny thing but somehow a dog sniffing on the Kitty Jet....

You could have had your pick of seats on BR15 on the 25th. That was the emptiest I've ever seen that flight the Wednesday before US Thanksgiving. The rear J cabin had only 1 person in it, and eventually they invited that passenger to sit up in the front J cabin, so it wound up completely empty. The front J cabin had about 4-5 empty seats. I poked my head through the curtains, and there were a lot of empty seats in Elite and Economy. Maybe 80% load in the back.

Just wanted to follow up on this to confirm what username said previously and what is contrary to Eva's marketing materials. The 77A on my JFK-TPE has power outlets in economy. I sat in the DEF middle seats and there were two outlets for those three seats. Each seat also had a USB port in the seat back screen that could be used for charging. There were also no boxes under the seats in front to take up leg room.

I still can't figure out why EVA's description of their 77A's doesn't mention power in Y. Maybe there are a few planes out there that don't have it and they don't want to over-promise. Has anyone been on a 77A in Y that didn't have power outlets?

Also, while the flight had wifi, it wasn't very good. AA's wifi on their 77W was much faster, despite both being provided by tmobile.

Maybe it's because not every seat in Y has a power outlet, it's every 3 seats that have 2 outlets, and the last row has 1 outlet per 2 seats.

Maybe cause I'm not an EVA member.

Ground staff in Korea could not help.

Excellent. This is just what I needed.

Any thoughts on 5D/G vs. 8D/G with a lap child flying JFK-TPE? We plan to eat in shifts I think so that should obviate the question of who'll play with the kid while the other person eats.
