Is the refurbished seats the same as the one installed in the newer aircraft?

I believe so. Didn't have a chance to take photos of seats A and C.

Hi, I am flying on BR35 in Elite Class. The aircraft is a 77W but I cannot relate to the seat maps as not sure which is the right map. Can on of you advise as to which is the best seat in PE (Elite Class) without the IFE box under the seats. Any idea what a LMU to Laurel Class would cost?

Never flown anything but J on that flight, but as to your question regarding the LMU, for that route, it's usually the cost of the difference between J and PE. Last I checked it was around $3000 or so (from what my colleagues told me).

Enjoy the flight. If that's your first time, prepare to be blown away. Oh, do yourself a favor and use a lav. At least in J, it was absolutely spotless, it shocked the poop out of me.

Check the row number of Elite class cabin. It should be up to row 26 vs 27. Then you can distinguish the two versions.

Re. the upgrade to RL, TPE-YYZ one-way was USD3000 in late September. Too expensive to me. (Advance purchase fare difference was much smaller.)

777W and 777N have the same elite layout. And the entertainment boxes are in the same place in both planes.

It sounds like EVA will be refurbishing these planes to the 777A layout and seats.

I concur. Confusion between 'M' (BR specific code) and 'W' (generic B773ER code)?
