What are you looking for?
Lounge access? You will have, since you are flying C class.
Miles credit to UA/OZ/NH? You can already do that.
Ah, you may be looking to credit to A3.

There's a lot of integration to be done in our systems, that all has to take place before we are a full member of Star Alliance, which we expect to happen in the second quarter of 2013" the spokesman told Australian Business Traveller.
I was one of those excited fools that thought, ahhh come 1-Jan-2013 everything will be integrated and EVA will be a full partner. I expect the date will most likely be in June. Bummer for me as I will have at least 8 EVA long hauls before then, and I'd rather credit to my Aeroplan which has a superior redemption availability and website than EVA's horrible program. I finally was able to get laurel class long haul after a year of trying. As soon as EVA is integrated I expect that alot of FFs will abandon the evergreen club for the UA/TG/AC option.

I talked to some airport agents at TPE today and I got 2 answers:
One gave a definitive date of 6/18/2013
Another one said sometime in June
Both said they are so busy and nervous learning and preparing - probably getting certified with *A.

I was taking BR flight 17 last night (SFO-TPE: departure time 12:05am). I was in Premium Economy using my BR Silver status. Check-in counter is sending me to United Club instead of BR's own club. The stated reason was that the club is going to be too crowded.
My colleague and I talked us into the club. Judging from people's carry-on tags, I think they are either flying Business class or being Diamond member.
I am not sure whether they were sending Gold member to United club.

Regardless, this would be caused by exessive medallions and their guests. Clearly this number will rise as the *A elites get added to that list. So I would expect this to get worse. Not really a huge problem at SFO (as one could overflow to the UA lounge), but TPE will be bad if they do not add any additional seating with the remodelling going on now.

I also asked about the remodel in TPE. One person said that the renovated area will become F while the current F, which is not too bad, is going to be used for C. Another person said that this is all TBD.
The SQ TPE lounge, which only opens for the times SQ has flights, has a sign in front that says NH passengers would use it instead of the BR lounge. It will be interesting to see what happens when BR officially joins. SQ lounge is much smaller but the food offering is not worse than BR - it all comes down to what you like. SQ lounges cookies are great by the way.
Back in SFO, I guess BR passengers can also be entitled to use the SQ SKL if it is open. Does NZ have its own at SFO or it actually uses BR's? I guess we will see more of these "denied entry" and "will I be" threads...

The late night BR/SQ flights depart within an hour of each other so it probably would be open. As for NZ, they use the BR lounge for their fligh but it departs around 9pm, whereas BR departs after midnight.
