DB Purchase - Your data is not complete error.

DB Purchase - Your data is not complete error.

Have bought train tickets on the Deutsche Bahn website before a number of times and my login profile is still good, but now having a problem booking a simple ticket FRA-Cologne.

Get to the payment page, enter my Visa CC number data (personal profile is correct and what was in my profile) and when I press Continue, I get an error: Your data is not complete. Missing or unclear data is marked red. There is nothing or any fields marked in red on the page that I can see. Even tried Paypal as payment method, same error. My colleague had this exact same problem and couldn't figure it out. Screen shot below...

What the heck am I missing here?

Well, it's hard to see what's missing given you've blacked so much of it out, and given you were booking for last Friday I guess you've worked a way around it by now, but that's a walk up fare anyway - zero need to have purchased that in advance in the first place

Do you manage to make purchase? I have the same issue. Keep saying "Your data is not complete. Missing or unclear data is marked red." while nothing is in Red. Tried to use paypal instead of credit card, also same problem.

I managed to proceed using Microsoft Edge browser. Trying to use my credit card, the transaction was declined by my bank. No idea why. So I proceed to use paypal and it is fine now.

Figured out the solution!!!!!!!

OP, and all future readers

After racking my brain for a week I figured out why. I was using google chrome and created an account that is LOGGED IN while I was trying to book.
  1. Open Chrome Browser
  2. Log into your account
  3. Go the homepage
  4. click "My Bahn" (where it should have your name underneath)
  5. You should see subsections, "Personal Details", "Payment details", "mobile phone ticket" and "Newsletter"
  6. locate the "payment details" section
  7. Enter your desired credit card information and save details
  8. navigate back to your desired ticket transaction
  9. Enter the same desired credit information from step 7 and voilą, you should be able to move past the page and advance to the "check and pay" page
