Flam Railway - CAN NOT book oneway Myrdal to Flam?

Title says it all.

Trying to book a one way ticket from Myrdal to Flam online in vain. The web site menu seems to force me to book return only. See link below:
https://booking.visitflam.com/en/to-...ay/showdetails

Please advise how to get around it.

Thanks in advance!

Try Norwegian Railways website
https://www.nsb.no/en/booking/select...turnOnly=false

Yes, on nsb I was able to book the Flam trip. One more thing though, nsb web site does not accept US-issued credit cards (despite no clarification on that) but does accept PayPal.

When I did the trip (a couple of years ago) I just booked it at the railway station (in Bergen in my case). That is pretty much the best way to do this. We did a round trip Bergen (by boat) Flam (by train) Bergen.

Depending when you went, but for me thats way way too risky, unless a person is gonna overnight at Flam. Simply if the train sells out and you already purchased the rest of the tkts you might end up missing the boat if its the same day, and then have to repurchase all the remaining tkts as well

OP I ended up using a friends CC who is overseas, but they wrong on 2 parts 1- it was a DC and not a CC and 2- they thought there wasnt any Forex on it and sure enough there was. In the end with currency going alot stronger to the USD I ended up with apx a 7-8% loss. Should have simply paid the 4% PP fee

craz,
You are right. I do not want to run the risk of buying ticket in person on the day and at the time when I need to travel.

BTW, I email to visitflam dot com. They replied within 36 hours and offered to help me to book it either by email or by phone. I opted to use email, and sent them all info required for the booking. Will see how it goes.

Thanks all for your suggestions and info.
