SBB nicety
 

I travel to Switzerland 5 or 6 times a year and love riding trains and seeing the SUPER scenery. Using an annual 1/2 fare card + day cards (for SBB) works well for me.
In January 2017, at the SBB rail center in ZRH Airport, I renewed my 1/2 fare card which I placed in a (small, special) folder, with a 6 trip day card with one trip left.
About 30 minutes after leaving the rail center, I realized I must have lost BOTH my Swisspass AND day card; I returned to rail center, but the folder was NOT there. I requested a replacement Swisspass [to be delivered to the Rail Center for p/u on my next trip to Switz. in April.], but the day card being a "bearer" item was presumably lost "forever".
On April 7, I retrieved my (replacement) Swisspass, but in the same envelope my lost day card was also enclosed--saving me 80SF.^ It must have been found with my previous SP (there was no other way to link that day card to me.)
I was very satisfied with the way things worked out!
