Zurich HB transfer time of 8 minutes, enough?

I am planning a trip from Zurich Flughafen to Germany by train. It requires a transfer at Zurich HB. Transfer time from Platform 32 to Platform 10 is 8 minutes (per schedule). Is this too tight? I travel light.

I have been trying to search for a HB platform map to no avail.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Yes, it's doable. As you can see from the diagram, the higher number platforms are actually under the lower number platform. But, whilst the platforms are clearly signposted, I wouldn't recommend something so tight to a visitor unfamiliar with the layout.

There are so many trains going from ZRH to the main station (and many of them which stop on the higher level platforms which would be a short easy stroll away) - why the need for such a tight connection?

Thank you for the linked map of the station.

Very helpful! Thanks.

Yes, I would consider allowing more time for the transfer as you had suggested.
I also noted since my OP that trains from the airport to main station is very frequent. I could take an earlier train to Zurich main station.
