Driving Budapest to BUD?
 
We'll be renting a car to tour around Hungary and our last night will be in Budapest (Hilton). I'm deciding whether it's worth hanging onto the car (paid until the next AM anyway) and paying for hotel parking (HUF 6,900), or returning it the day before and paying for taxi to the airport (HUF 4,000?).

How easy is the drive from the city to BUD early on a Sunday morning (0925 flight departure)?

It's an easy drive, should take all of 20 minutes early on a Sunday morning. As you head out of town, the soccer stadium will be on your right, after this stay in the outside lane (left) and access the express lane direct to the airport.
