I routinely pay 35-70 dollars. You can either take the Thayls or the locals, which are only slightly slower.

ns.nl is quoting me EU64 using random dates, but that seems a bit high.

E 40,

40 Euros in 2nd Class seems to be the current price; 1st is 150% of that.

Yesterday Amsterdam Airport AMS to Brussels on the IC was 68.80 euros in 2nd class RT and takes about 2 hr 45 min depending upon the Brussels station. The IC train leaves AMS hourly at XX:42. Use the ticket machines or pay and extra 3.50 euros using an rail ticket agent.

you can as well consider flying to CDG airport and then take the nonstop TGV which gets you withing 95min to Brussels
its several nonstop trains per day leaving from Airport TGV station for Brussels (30-45€ for a oneway)

I took the discounted weekend special last Sat and Sun BRU to AMS for 42 euros RT. Nice deal! You can get schedules and prices AMS-BRU in english or dutch at www.ns.nl and the trip is about 3 hours.
