Gym in Lyon
 

I will be in Lyon for a month for work staying at the Sofitel Royal at Place Bellcour. Does anyone know if there is a decent gym nearby? I run on a treadmill 6 days a week and have found that European hotels don't have the same "at least a treadmill" fitness center that most American properties have.

So why not stay at an American hotel? The Hilton in Lyon is very nice and they have a fitness center. That said, I'm sure you can find a gym in Lyon. Call the concierge at the Sofitel and he will point out one close to the hotel.

A month of eating out in Lyon will certainly lead to a need for a gym. :D

Stimpy is right. The concierege at your hotel or one nearby is the best to ask. That, or asking someone at your office for a gym close to there ... if going to a gym before or after work is your cup of tea.
