Flight changeover at frankfurt
 

Hi

I am travelling from bombay to Charlotte North Carolina. The itenary that i have got is

bombay to frankfurt - Lufthansa.
a 4 hour gap
Frankfurt to Charlotte - Usairways(thy say its a code share between lufthansa n USair)

will there be any issues in transfer of luggage? also where will i receive the boarding pass for the 2nd-Usairways flight? will tht be at the boarding gate or will i have to look for an Usair ticketing counter? any additional security checks and is walking the best way to travel between terminals in case i have to change it?

Under normal circumstances, you will be issued a BP for both segments of your trip in Bombay. Your luggage will be checked through. You will not see your luggage in FRA.

to find where you arrive, and where you depart. There is a shuttle bus, and a tram, which you can use, if necessary.

You will unquestionably have to go through at least one set of security. It is required by The FEDS(US government). They have their own very strict interpertaiton of the regulations they are enforcing(US rules, enforced by German Nationals)
