T1-T2 connected after security
 

If I am flying out of T2 on OS, after I clear security in T2, does that connect to the secure area in T1 if I wanted to shop at one of the stores there after security? Or are the post-security areas separate?

I did just that when flying AF out of T2. After check-in and security in T2, I walked over to the secure area in T1 and back to the AF lounge in T2.

Yes, this is very easy. After security, follow signs for the high-numbered (50s etc) gates, which will take you up a few steps and left towards one of the piers, then left again.

You'll then come round the outside of the FCC. The gates will be signposted right, but carry on round. This will take you to T1.
