CDG to Orly transfer?
 

I'm wondering the best way to do it, how much time to allow from arrival at CDG to departure from Orly, etc. Websites seem to focus on transfers from both airports to Paris, not between airports

Regardless of the announced average trip time (55mn) on the ADP web site, AF gives a minimum connecting time of 135 mn, which is a more realistic evaluation. If you are transferring between 2 AF flights, you can receive a free ticket from AF for the AF coaches at the transfer desk located in the customs area at CDG2.

Taxi and AF coaches are subject to traffic jams, depending on the date and time of your arrival. Taking the RER train and Orlyval from CDG2 is not too difficult: the RER station is located under the Sheraton Hotel, between Terminals 2A through D and terminal 2F. You need to choose the right train to reach RER station "Antony" where you board Orlyval; next stop is Orly Ouest and then Orly Sud. Coming from CDG1, you need to take a free shuttle from the terminal to the RER station.

When joining CDG2 to ORY (Ouest or Sud) by RER and Orlyval, it usaully takes me 1h 10 minutes, with an avearge time spent to wait of 5/7 minutes.
But I have my RER ticket, that could be a lost time in CDG2, I know by heart where to go.
So, yes, 1h15 is really a minimum, and if it is your first time in Paris, think more about 1h30.

Save some time taking one of the last cars (probably car number 6 or 7), you'll be more comfortable in Antony, where is the transfer to the Orlyval.
Go straight to the counter, the ticket is around 45 FF per people.
