Hotel recommendations in Florence?
 
My wife and I will be going to Florence for 2 - 3 days between working here in Basel and another job in Monza (north of Milano.)

We have worked in Florence before, but have always been put in accomodations chosen for us ... appartments and 3 star hotels.

We are looking for something a bit more upscale ... in the 25%, so to speak.

Any ideas?

Was there last March. Stayed in Villa Liberty on Via Michelangelo (other side of Tiber from city centre. Small lovely hotel easy walk to all. ~110E/nt double
