Schiphol - Amsterdam NS intercity direct

Can anyone assist me. If you take the train between Schiphol and Amsterdam Centraal, there are two different options: Sprinter and Intercity Direct.
On NS's website: https://www.ns.nl/en/travel-informat...ty-direct.html it indicates that you need to buy a supplement if taking the Intercity Direct. Does that also apply between Schiphol and Centraal?
Thanks

The fare is the same between Centraal and Schipol no matter what train you get. €4.50 if you use the app / eticket or €5.50 for a paper one.

The supplement is for those using some specific trains between Schipol and Rotterdam.

The supplement is only for those taking the train from Schiphol to Rotterdam/Breda using this special Intercity Direct. The price of the supplement varies- peak and off-peak prices. These are the only special trains in the Netherlands (besides the International train to Belgium, Thalys and ICE).

Cheers!

Thanks for basically saying what I already said - not that it affects the OP!

And I said 'specific' not 'special'

And the supplement is the same no matter the time of day.

This information is incorrect - if you are using the OVChip card. You have the peak and non-peak price. The non-peak price is 1.40 Euro vs the 2.40 Euro peak price.
This is not valid for the e-ticket version where only 1 option is available.

Like everyone stated above, yes it also depends if you have an OV chipcard yes or no..
You do need to touch your OV-Card at the red machines if you use the intercity direct from Schiphol to Rotterdam. I am not sure how it works with if you buy a single ticket. But I would suggest to get an Anonymous chipcard upon arrival and put money on it and travel with that. It is a lot easier than buying single tickets everytime.
