Flying from Athens to Larnaca - Immigration needed?

I just realised that Cyprus is not a schengen country. But given the close relationship between Greece & Cyprus, would I need to pass through immigration when travelling between the two countries?

I am flying into Athens from Singapore, and transfer from there for another flight to Larnaca. The two legs are on different airlines and it looks like that I have to pass through immigration twice. Is a transfer time of 3.5 hours sufficient?

It's much, much more than sufficient. And if I'm not terribly mistaken, there may even be a shortcut in ATH allowing you to access the non-Schengen A gates without going through Greek immigration. As for the Greece-Cyprus procedure, yes, you do have to go through the normal Schengen-to-non-Schengen immigration formalities, in spite of how close a relationship the two countries have.
