Hello! I am going Kiev next month. Maybe you guys have any recommendations what to visit? Also, how about cash? Do we need to have them, or it is possible to pay with credit card everywhere?

I've been there once, so I can't recommend much of the places, but I do remember that I was able to pay by card in most places!

A day trip to Chenobyl is very interesting.

I think when I went (twice) I drew cash from an ATM but also paid by credit card. There are 35 Ukrainian to 1. I get confused when I stand in front of an ATM for the first time as if you don't know the exchange rate you are not sure how much you are withdrawing!

So ATMs charge and others are free.

There's the Chenobyl museum in Kiev. On weekends Khreschatyk Street in the area around Maidan is closed to traffic and has various performers. Also check out Taras Shevchenko Park if you like Salsa dancing.
