Entering and Exiting EU twice - where to get VAT refund?

I live in the US and going to visit Germany, Austria and Italy with a trip to the Seychelles in the middle, all within 2.5 weeks. My flights will be:
Home - ZRH - TXL; TXL - VIE; VIE - IST - SEZ; SEZ - ADD - FCO; FLR - ZRH - Home.
Anything I buy in Italy, I'll claim in Florence - easy. But for items I buy in Berlin or Vienna, do I claim the VAT refund in Vienna and then bring it back into the EU after the Seychelles? Or can I also claim the refund in Florence? Thanks!

It's up to you really, you can claim in either but it probably make sense to only claim one time at the end instead of wasting time twice.
