Can anyone tell me where this is?!?

It was the banner image in a promotional email I received. Looks beautiful! But I have no idea where it is!

Well the emails are the type that you can't reply to. I suppose I could try calling, but I don't have much hope that a random Air Canada phone representative can track this down for me

Thanks anyway though!

Thanks! But Google Maps shows Grottole to be too far from the coast for it to be the place

Thanks anyways!

Agree, Positano seems to be it. This is a stock photo used by various sites to promote Italian cities, even when they're inland... However, you can trace it back to Getty Images, with a Google reverse image search:

Awesome, thank you! I tried a reverse image search but didn't see what you did. Thanks!

Which is interesting, since Air Canada doesnt fly anywhere near southern italy.

I doubt anyone at Air Canada actually knows what they put in the ads except the stock photo purchasing dept.

Probably they expect people to fly to Rome and use ground transportation from there. When I visited that area ( 9 years ago ) there were no direct flights from my hometown ( IST ) to NAP and I had to option to fly to Rome and drive there, or make a connection at MUC and fly to NAP which I preferred at that time. Also it's common for non-EU tourists visiting to Italy to fly to Rome for trips to the Amalfi Coast, Naples, Florence and even to Pisa.

By the way, AC codeshares with LH on their MUC-NAP and FRA-NAP routes and with UA on their EWR-NAP seasonal route.

Indeed so - you can get from Roma Termini to Salerno in just under 2 hours.

Right now, I'd really like to go from Roma Termini to Salerno in just under 2 hours

100% certain that it is Positano. How do I know? We were there in 2003 for our honeymoon and I took this picture below. See the yellow house near the center of the picture with a red house to the right? Those are the same houses as OP's picture. Also see the same coastline.
