Age restriction/Driving

According to Michelin, there is age restriction for renting a car in Brugge. (Not under 25 or over 70). Does that restriction application apply to rentals from Amsterdam?

Thanks!

It will depend on the rental company and the location. Some car rental companies won't rent to young drivers (or old ones for that matter), or may simply charge a surcharge. Some rental companies may simply not rent at all to young drivers.
You'll just have to try and see.

Have a look at the Car Rental forums on this site. There are many discussions about younger drivers, and some discount codes that will permit them to rent at a more normal rate (be careful, though, some of these are tied to corporate deals).

I used to always use Sixt at AMS, and found them very good. I note that their minimum age for a standard rate is 21, not 25 on smaller cars, and that they have a €15/day supplement for younger drivers, although you must have had a licence for 2 years. They don't state any maximum age, although this could be hidden deeper in T&Cs.
