5 hour layover in Vienna
 

7 years later, is the advice the same? I have a 5 hour layover in VIE coming up. Trying to decide it it's worth it to check out downtown... or just stick with lounge/shopping.

There have been a variety of thread in this topic if you do a search. Five hours is just doable to get into Vienna for a while but you won't see that much. Outside of major traffic times I would figure 30 mins each way, leaving you a maximum of three hours, of which I would have one as a reserve.
