Flying AMS-EWR

Is there any special security for US bound travelers as they have at FCO?

Flying with United? They do have those folks from an outsourced security company ask a couple of questions at check-in, and flights seem to go from gates that have the nude-o-scope security scanners more often. But there isn't a segregated terminal for US/Israel flights as at FCO.

I haven't flown Delta on this route.

At AMS security is at the gate. You'll get asked the 20 questions and then get scanned. Usually goes fairly quickly.

Is the scan opt-out?
