Balkan itineraries
 

Any suggestions?

I'm thinking of using two, maybe three intra-Europe award tickets from FRA, and would like to see the Balkans again. I'd like to see some new stuff- countries I've been to already include Croatia, BiH, Kosovo, Bulgaria.

Specifically I'd like to do a round of the former southern Yugoslavia- something including Serbia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro, and Albania, maybe ending in Dubrovnik or something like that.

Another possibility is Kiev - Lviv - Transylvania - Moldova. But it is excessively hot in the Ukraine right now and that doesn't seem to be changing anytime soon.

Anyone have suggestions that are good bang for the buck in terms of using my award miles, and won't involve excessively long distances and time on transportation?

Don't overlook Slovenia. It's an easy drive from MUC or fly into LJU after connecting in FRA.
