DME-VIE?

First time poster, so forgive my ignorance here. I have an upcoming business trip to Eastern Europe and am planning a few days of sightseeing in Russia afterwards. Looking at flights back to the states I noticed what seem short connections (55 mins in VIE) when traveling from DME-VIE-CDG. Does anyone know if that connection is doable? I would figure I need more time, but since I haven't flown through Vienna before (or Moscow for that matter) I am not sure. Thanks in advance!

Should be doable if your arriving flight is on time. IIRC security in VIE is at each gate or groups of gates, so you may have to go through security again. Are you changing airlines? I'm surprise you could not get a direct flight from Moscow to CDG.

Minimum time for plane-change is 30minutes at VIE , its quite small airport, its doable, but question is, will your inbound flight arrive on-time ?

There would be many flights between VIE - CDG.. if u are travelling thru vie, then why not take a break for even a few hrs to go arnd VIE unless u hv been here earlier.. ?
To answer ur question on transit time, 55 minutes is decent enuf unless there are some hassles in immigration (which is rare)..
