Zurich airport, observation deck note
Zurich airport has an observation deck from which you can observe planes dep. and arr., if there is not much wind, this outdoor deck, is a pleasant activity and costs only 8 SFr. [On Easter Sunday, lots of people were on the deck.]
Those in possession of a Zurich Card (free transportation in the greater Zurich area) and free museum entry to about 30 (the Kusthaus is included)--the observation deck is listed as one of the free items--the people at the entry to the bus, don't seem to know about this perk, and you (sort of) have to fight your way to get this freebee (having the Zurich Card brochure helps). [They take you by bus, to the end of the E gates where you get access to the the deck, by elevator--before boarding the bus, you are subjected to regular airport security.]
