Etihad refusing to refund for effective down grade
Is anyone having issued with Etihad customer services currently. It has taken 51 days before receiving a response and their reply is basic and does not address the issue.
I booked extra leg room seats and paid extra. Received said seat on the OB leg but not the return due to a last minute change of aircraft. I understand the challenge but I should at least be refunded for the additional cost I paid for the extra leg room seat for not getting what I paid for. The staff at the airport continually advised I was booked in an extra leg room seat but was not. The customer relations team simply advise I was in a like for like seat but it was not and refuse to refund for the extra leg room seat booked. They have taken my money, not delivered on what was sold and don't care. |
What customer service? Can you tell us what seat you booked and which one you got?

I agree, no customer service whatsoever. Shocking. The new seat number was one row away from the original seat number however on a completely different aircraft.

After numerous complaints and finally going through a route which should not be necessary and took so much time I have been told they will make a 'gesture of good will' and refund the extra paid for a product they could not deliver. That's so kind of them - so generous!!!!! The national airline of one of the world's richest nations is taking every opportunity to rob their clients of their money. Surely it's illegal and certainly immoral to sell a service, not deliver and try everything to get out of refunding.
