Upgrade Bid - Etihad Business to First Apartment

Hi,

this is my first time posting on FlyerTalk

I have a flight in business class with Etihad in 2 weeks time which I paid 1950 for return to Bangkok from LHR with a stop in Abu Dhabi (I assume this is good value).

i noticed on my return flight I can bid on an upgrade to the First Apartment suites from a range of 820-2500

I checked and it looks like 8/9 seats are still available with 2 weeks until the flight. Whats the best bid I should make for this upgrade in the hopes that I get it?

Thanks in advanced!

Having tried J and F on this short route, I wouldn't bid the minimum let alone somewhere north of 2k

Whinge about Wamos, get a complimentary upgrade to F?
