First class Lounge opened today !!
But is only going to be for the morning shift from 5AM

It is hoping to be expanded upon in coming weeks

Is good news though, saying that I am a bit gutted to be typing this in the bloody roped off area in the business lounge

Worth it for the outrage of the fellow British traveller who is disgusted by this lack of service

This is exciting news. Sure hope it fully opens for all hours by my scheduled trip on Christmas Day arriving around 6pm local time. Is there any official press release from Etihad about this?

My Oct flight gets into AUH at 6pm, and I fly out at 2:35am. Sounds like no First Class lounge for me??

Sorry if this has been covered before, but if the lounge isn't available and you are sent over to the Biz lounge, are you compensated in any way?

No as they have a roped off First area with table food service and first class drinks like rose champagne etc

First I lost the A380 First Class seat, now the lounge, it's not turning into much of a 'first time' experience - surely there's something I should be asking for?

Lol sadly a refund sorry as it really isn't the experience you signed up for - surely you can argue a tangible reduction in service

How does it compare to precovid? I think this is a good sign for more normal hours by the end of hte year. At least I'm hoping for that. My flight arrives at 5:55PM and connecting flight is at 1:05am. Still confused whether I will have access to the F lounge since my connecting flight is in J .
