Question Flying to Tanzania - 787-8 or 777-300 Business class?

I'm flying to Tanzania in February to climb Kilimanjaro (corona permitting) and am going to book a business class ticket with miles. Already had my Sept climb cancelled. I can fly:

--787-8 Chicago - Addis Ababa - Tanzania. Flights are 13:45 and 2:35 long. Arrives 12:50pm

--777-300 Dulles - Addis Ababa - Tanzania. Flights are 13:15 and 2:35. Arrives 12:50pm

-- Alternatively I can also do Turkish Airlines 777-300 - Chicago - Istanbul - Tanzania Flights are 10:45 and 9:25. Arrives 5:50am

I think the Etihad 787-8 is their older one with the not true lie flat seats. Not sure about the 777 or Turkish 777 in comparison. Other than technically getting to visit Turkey for the first time and maybe taking a shower in the airport the Turkish flight doesn't sound like as good of a deal. Also getting in at 5:50am it'll be awhile before I get into a hotel.

Do the advantages of the 787 (better cabin pressure, etc) but with old seats, outweigh the 777 for a 13h flight?

Are you confusing Etihad with Ethiopian airlines?
