QR are super solid. They have more planes in the air than all EU airlines combined.

We all told you. I reckon they won’t be flying to Sydney until around November.

Well, for the time being, you are correct about the Sydney part at least.

Frustrating! Was meant to be flying on 17 May from Sydney, but that was cancelled...rebooked with Qatar and now EY are flying on 15 May. Oh well, I guess they are ramping up discrete flights for the time being.

So I am aware that Etihad is retiring all of their 777 by the end of this year, but looking at Feb 2022, I see AUH-LAX resuming? And operated by 777? Didn't they pull out of LAX completely? and the 777? Any insight appreciated lol

Maybe remaining 777s will all be cargo flights.

I can only imagine that they had options on the 777s which they took up on retiring the 380s else will bring in the 350s in time but cannot reflect that yet

I start to think EY will soon be like GF - a local airline with limited transit opportunities and no global aspirations. Was GF even profitable before COVID?
