Tier Bonus Miles
The FAQ section on the Etihat Guest Site states the following:
Is that really true or did they just mix up Tier Miles and Guest Miles themselves? That bonus would make requalification way easier.
Tier Bonus Miles
Etihad Guest Silver members earn a bonus of 25% of Tier Miles. Etihad Guest Gold and Platinum members earn a bonus of 50% and 75% Tier Miles respectively.

I think it's the usual EY sloppy documentation, I too believe it relates to general miles earning.
It may be worth clarifying with relevant Guest team (Silver, Gold & Platinum) in case we are due bonus TIER miles
