VIP Rooms at AUH First Lounge

I saw on the EY website that there is an option for a private VIP room at the First Class lounge in AUH, I will be traveling through there on to SYD in early June. The price of it is listed at 100 AED which seems very reasonable to me.

Has anyone done this and what exactly do you get? Or if anyone has read a trip report of someone that has done this please point me in that direction.

Thank you for any insights.

Very good couches I hear.
When I reach platinum and have a long layover but not long enough to justify going home then I shall buy access to the residence lounge and lay on the couch.

This isn't new. It's been for sale for months.

I have used it twice on long layovers between SYD and CAI.

The rooms must not be reserved by P pax. You pay USD $100 and there is no time limit. You are basically given full P service with at least 5 staff standing outside the glass door. The room features a living and dining area with a private bathroom. Menus are brought to you which seem to have more items than the standard restaurant. You have a dedicated waiter and they will reserve your spa treatments by sending spa staff to you.

On a 5+ hour layover my traveling companion was tired and fell asleep on the couch. They brought them a quite and pillows - I found this to be worth it in itself.

The rooms generally has P tableware, but they use standard F Lounge crockery when F pax book. Other than that the service is the same.

fedechat and Osmo like this.

How does one book this? The website mentions the cost, but doesnt speak to if it's booked onsite only or if not-- how one would book ahead of time.

Is that per person or the total price no matter how many enter?
