Amenity Kits in J - Clarification at last...
Looks like Etihad.com website has finally been updated to reflect the Amenity Kit situation... https://www.etihad.com/en-ae/experie...usiness-class/

In Business Class, you’ll receive an amenity kit on our ultra-long-haul flights and long-haul overnight flights.
On long-haul day flights, dental kits including a toothbrush and toothpaste, sleep packs including socks and an eyeshade, earplugs and shaving kits are available on request.
Expectations now managed - although still not happy about it!!

Or available for purchase if you walk down the back.
I would suggest a straw poll to see what we think they will chop next, but I don't want to give the numpties in Etihad HQ any free ideas for things to cut.

Cuts are counterproductive and Etihad should know that. They spent years and millions creating a brand image based on luxury and are now reversing all that work. Screwing over loyal customers like you and I. The prices are only going up after cuts like chauffeur drive promised lower prices. Two years ago MAA-JFK in F was 2400USD~ now its around 5-7000USD~.

EY does offer turndown service in J, whereby they place a thin sheet on top of the seat (which does decrease friction, give you a clean sleeping surface and slightly increase comfort overall). The blanket is the standard sh*t one that you can also find aboard their 320's and turndown does not provide a more substantial one like a linen duvet or a fur comforter.

Just flew NRT-AUH in Business yesterday on an 11.30 flight time. No more amenity kits being given now. If you ask, you get economy class style socks with toothbrush. That's all...The way Etihad is going downhill with their cost cutting is unbelievable and conflicting to their ;luxury airline image.
