Aircraft change BOM-AUH to Airbus A321-100/200 - what to expect?

Flying BOM-AUH-LHR in July and it appears there's been an aircraft change on the return leg BOM-AUH which is now listed as Airbus A321-100/200 (I don't recall it being that listing when booking).

Just wondering what to expect on what I've read is the oldest of the EY fleet?

A321 are actually the newest of the medium-range fleet (up to 4 years old) and all equipped with Sharklets. The A319s and a few earlier A320s are a couple of years older (10+ years).
You can expect a standard single-aisle aircraft with your own video screen in Economy and 2-2 seating in Business.

You can also expect boarding from a bus gate as well .

Otherwise, it's perfectly acceptable for a short flight in Y or J. J is quite comfortable.

BOM will not board international flights from bus gates unless there is a technical issue with the aircraft that requires it to be parked away from the terminal. The GVK concession agreement specifies a minimum service level of contact stand allocation.
