Things are bad at EY. I don`t think it will happen anytime soon. They took years to open First class lounge at home base and after visiting it I still don`t understand why it took so long, didn`t see any extraordinary elements

They have yet to complete the previous upgrade on the 777s and still finding them without the live TV - very annoying when you board looking forward to passing the time watching the football

If I had a choice, I would much rather they prioritise re-fitting the older A346 and the 2-class 77W which still have the first-gen J seats. Can't believe those seats are still around.
But given how tight money is all around at the moment, I'm not holding my breath.

The extended closure of the First class lounge was because of structural issues which needed to be rectified prior to Etihad commencing the refurbishment. These weren't discovered until after the existing lounges had already been closed.

I asked Etihad after my last flight in February when all the 777s would have the (previous) refit and live TV installed and have not yet received an answer and that is before they start retrofitting the studio into the craft

They got rid of the A330-300's for some reason I cannot fathom....
They had live TV, the latest business class before business studio and first.
Meanwhile to the subcontinent.....
[If you didn't get the joke, I'm talking about the a320 neck breakers]

Three A350s delivered so far have been flown directly into storage at Bordeaux.
I expect the wide body fleet to only consist of A380s, A350s, B777 and B787 by the end of next year.

What about the A320 fleet?
Is it going to stay the same? Etihad cannot expect any sane person to choose them to the subcontinent anymore at the prices they charge.
No Chauffeur, No Flatbed... Etihad's widebodies are non-existent for me 90% of the time.
