Etihad Discount Codes

Etihad has discount codes quite regularly. Should we create a wiki to update the different codes and conditions?

Great idea. SKYBLUE could be the first

What might these discount codes yield? Any examples?

Yes, 'STFBUS' provided a 30% discount on Business fares. Grabbed a o/w BKK - LHR in Jan for me & the family.

'STFECO'also provided 30% off Y fares, both valid until November 12th

Was using STFECO for business... No wonder it doesn't apply..... Grrrrrrr

I have generally found it easy to see the T&Cs that apply but every now and then there is a massive foul up such as the chauffeur restriction changes a couple of years ago or the Skyblue "offer"

Not sure a wiki would help matters

These discount codes are all over the place. It would be good to just share the code. What the skyblue about?

When Skyblue was launched it simply offered members a 10% discount but what they did not say was that it was only on the more expensive fares in each class and not breaking deals or saver tickets

As somebody else has quite rightly pointed out, it would be wise just to the simply find the best price, in whichever class you wish to travel, between a and b and do not get tied in with any of Etihads so called deals.

If you get a code that gives you 30% off a fare that you would have bought anyway then that is fine! but my experience is a 30% off anything with Etihad means it's at least 30% more expensive than you could buy elsewhere.

My advice would be not to chase status with this airline it's simply not worth it and their customer service operatives are robots designed to give you incorrect advice and/or pointless and irrelevant information.
Shame as the product is quite good.
