F lounge in AUH opened 30MAY2016
 
It will open today at 5.30pm local time. That was what I heard in the first class section of the premium lounge. I was basically one of the last guest who had to use this roped off section...

Sitting in the gate 35 Premium Lounge, entrance to the new First Lounge open on the way past with lots of staff wandering about. Asked at Premium desk, it opens at 6pm tonight!

Glad my gamble paid off :) 64k EY miles for retuen A380 F BOM-AUH-BOM later this week + $1000 in taxes and hotel expense and positioning flights, would've been really angry if the lounge hadn't opened :D

Here's hoping they don't decide to close the lounge again before your journey. :D

Please take lots of photos and do a trip report, too!!! (It will be quite a step up from your "economy, mostly" travel!!!!) ^

I am still mostly in Economy this trip includes 4 flights, 2 of which are positioning flights in Y :D

Will try take lots of nice pics and also report on the Apartment experience on the short BOM route as I've mostly seen trip reports on longer LHR/JFK routes.

So, it looks like the bar is overlooking the building site in between T1 & T3?
Also, no change in free spa for F guests.
