Interline and layover questions
Hi there!
I'm preparing this itinerary:
ZRH-AMS-DOH (KL business redemption ticket)
DOH-AUH-MNL (EY business promo fare)
On the return I could opt for a longer layover in AUH or DOH. I'm not so interested in heading into town, I'd rather relax a bit in a lounge. Which one would you recommand, Oryx lounge in DOH or Etihad lounge in AUH?
How about interlining checked bags? KL most surely will not interline with EY, but having a 3h50m connection in DOH (7 pm KL arrival, 10.50 pm EY departure) should be sufficient. What about EY? Would they interline bags from MNL to ZRH? If they don't, I reckon, I still could make the EY to KL connection in DOH in 2h15m (9.40 pm EY arrival, 11.55 pm KL departure).
Thanks for your insights. By the way, it would be my first time to travel through DOH and AUH on my way east, so I have no clue whatsoever about these airports and how efficient transfers would be.
