This is not a permanent situation and LHR will be back to 3 x daily A380 rotations once maintenance is completed on the first delivered airframes/new airframes are delivered.
Is there any chance that EY17 will be back to A380 by late Jan...???

It's the EY17/EY18 rotation which changes to a 77W through Jan and Feb, you should be fine on the 20 which is planned to remain an A380 rotation through Jan and Feb.

I'm booked on the 20 in Feb for my second visit to the Apartments

For those of us getting the 'seat map/equipment change error' on ExpertFlyer and via EY service desks: I noticed a pattern with my flights, which still ended up being the A380 after all. Exactly 4 days to the flight (literally, precisely 96hrs - on the second - that the flight was scheduled to depart) the seat map re-appeared, as if by magic.

Thanks for sharing.
Does this mean there's no way to select your seat in advance until T-96?

My A380 flight on the LHR sector just got swapped for an A340, so it's a huge downgrade from F Apartment to regular F

The flight is in April. What are the chances that it may be re-instated to an A380?

Looks like the all the equipment changes have been done as I can book my seats on upcoming EY19 flight now.

Looking at the schedule the only consistency I can see if that EY19/20 is always an A380 and the other two rotations are a little bit all over the place between 77W And A340. EY11/12 is always an A340 on a Thursday in April.
