Plse locate my missing lugage

EtihadHelp,
Could you help me locate my lost luggage, please?

Original luggage with tag EY701507 was traveling SIN-AUH-IAD on 27July. Luggage went missing in AUH.

We made lost luggage report (Worldtracer ref # AUHEY70480) on 30July.

On 4Aug we received a phone call that luggage was found and will be put onto Delta flights to MGM and Delta will call us when luggage arrive in MGM and ready for pickup.

On 5Aug World Tracer report shows luggage due to be on flights DL1520/DL5244 on 5Aug.

We called Delta on 7Aug and was told they do not have our luggage/it wasn't in their system.

We've been trying to call Etihad baggage dept in IAD but nobody would answer the call nor get back to the messages we left.

A message to [email protected] just yield us a ref # INTR 27282206 and still no luggage.

Seems our luggage was lost, then found, then lost again.

Please help.

I think that the new situation is that EtihadHelp will really only engage with this thread. If you have a question for EtihadHelp, then you should post it in this thread, rather than elsewhere.

EDIT: I have answered your question in that thread.

Dear EtihadHelp,

Please update the Etihad/Etihad Guest website!

On 8 July 2015, the earning rates for multiple classes changed, as detailed here.

The "old" mileage calculator for tickets issued prior to 8 July 2015 is found here, and is the one that the website links to as "Mileage Calculator" when navigating via the "Earn Miles" section of the Etihad/Etihad Guest website. Nowhere on this page does it indicate that this table relates only to tickets issued before 8 July 2015.

The "new" (or rather "current") mileage calculator is almost impossible to find online. This is, frankly, unacceptable. For the record, the "current" mileage calculator can be found here.

Please update the Mileage Calculator page so that your customers are clearly informed that there are two different calculators, one for tickets issued prior to 8 July, and one for all tickets issued thereafter. And please place BOTH on the same page..

Thanks to irish mark for highlighting this huge flaw.

EtihadHelp, can you please clarify the check in issue under the new fare structures.

Do Business and First Class pax get to check in at their respective counters based on Class or Service? Do Gold still check in at the Business counter and Platinum at the First counter (if not relying on Class of Service).

There appears to be much confusion based on the wording.

Hi m0hamed!

Yes, indeed, Etihad Gold Guest members will be able to do their check in at the Business counter and Platinum members at the dedicated First Class counter. There haven't been any changes made for the Etihad Guest check in. Let us know, whether this helps? *JP

What about guests that are NOT status pax with EY, but fly FIRST? Do they checkin with the economy?

Good morning mlqsko,

All First and Business guests, now also including Economy Freedom Guests, will have access to priority check in regardless of whether they're Etihad Guest members. Does this clarify? Enjoy your day! *JP

So all Guests use the checkin based on class of service. If you fly first, you use the first counter, if you fly business or economy freedom, you use the business counters.

EY Gold use business counters if they fly economy. EY Platinum can use First checkin regardless of what class of service they fly.

Confirm?

Then please update the Fare Choices page on the website which states that First and Business Award guests can use priority check in only when they have status.
