Still waiting for an airline with this feature.
When I flew TK in comfort class back in 2012 I could access my iPod content though the IFE with no special cable other than USB which I believe other airlines with a similar feature require.

I also forgot to mention that there is an HDMI in port so if you can send something into that I would have thought it would come up on screen.

Agree with this. Just flew IAD-AUH in 7K and had the sun glaring through over most of Europe. Very annoying!

The 2nd 787 still has that fresh factory feel to it, the suites are absolutely stunning.

Full, impeccable service on this short flight.
@rankourabu - did they give you PJs and a full amenity kit on this flight?

For those that have flown both 789 F and 77W F is it worth going out of my way to try the new 789 F and forfeiting the chauffeur ?

Or should I just fly 77W the most direct route with chauffeur etc

(I am yet to fly 388 F and 789 F but have flown 77W F twice and 346 F once)

Cheers

Dear Aspirant,

Please be advised that the Pyjamas are provided on extra long haul flight for Business/First Class guests and long haul flight for First Class guests only. Thanks. *JS

EtihadHelp

I was looking on the Etihad web site for a definition of long haul and ultra long haul. I could not find one but found another reference that ultra long haul describes flights over 12 hours and long haul is for flights from 6-12 hours.

Can you confirm what Etihad consider long haul vs ultra long haul?

Thanks, EtihadHelp! So one is to presume, then, that AUH-BOM (on the 789) is not an extra long haul flight and pax in F do not receive pyjamas nor amenity kits?
