Can anyone verify that flight 103 now gets pre-clearance in AUH?

Good news to me, otherwise.

Took this flight today in Y and quite frankly, compared to my outbound on EY100, it was a shambles. Seats were shabbier, food was veggie option or vegetarian option, headphones were garbage, flight was crowded with "amateur" fliers who the flight attendants just seemed to give up on while they hid in the galley. Bathrooms quickly became a mess, bottle of soap in the one nearest disappeared along with the paper towels. Cabin crew had no problem letting the group of fifty or more 12ish year old students have their seats reclined, tray tables lowered, sleeping in all positions with seat belts off during taxi and takeoff either. They just couldn't be bothered.

If I were Etihad, I'd be making sure 9W wasn't operating any of my marquee routes, like JFK.

Hi there!

Are non-Jet aircraft being rotated through SFO?

Need to fly SFO-AUH-BLR in September and when I'm searching on ITA I see some flights are appearing as being operated by EY aircraft, not the normal 9W leased aircraft:

San Francisco (SFO) to Bangalore (BLR) — Sat, Sep 12
Overnight flight

San Francisco (SFO) to Abu Dhabi (AUH) — Sat, Sep 12
Etihad Airways 182
Dep: 9:35 am
Arr: 12:30 pm
15h 55m
Boeing 777
Business (D)

Abu Dhabi (AUH) to Bangalore (BLR) — Sun, Sep 13
Etihad Airways 236

4h 35m
Airbus A320
Business (D)
Meal

Bangalore (BLR) to San Francisco (SFO) — Wed, Sep 16
Overnight flight

Bangalore (BLR) to Abu Dhabi (AUH) — Wed, Sep 16

Airbus A320

Abu Dhabi (AUH) to San Francisco (SFO) — Thu, Sep 17
Etihad Airways 183

5,097 kg (estimated by ITA).

I've never flown EY J class before and would love to try it but only if I get to try the actual EY hard product instead of the 9W product. Can anyone confirm that EY is sending EY aircraft to SFO?

Thanks!

EY182/183 are currently operated in tandem by A6-JAE and -JAC, both of which are 9W aircraft:

http://www.flightradar24.com/flight/ey182

http://www.airfleets.net/ficheapp/plane-b777-35163.htm
http://www.airfleets.net/ficheapp/plane-b777-35157.htm

Both these were from the many 77W Jet Airways bought and never found a use for. So they have been wet leased to TG and TK in the past and now work for EY flying DEL-AUH-SFO vv

Can you confirm that EY103 on 2 December is still scheduled to be operated by the A380?

Also, what are the operating hours of the Six Senses Spa in the lounges at AUH? I will arrive from DEL at 23:35 and will depart on EY103 at 03:20. Will the Six Senses spa be open for massage treatments?

One of the JetCrap planes is being sent to GRU. I am hopeful the AUH-JFK will go with real EY planes from now on.

Etihad needs to scrap the JetAirways garbage especially on the JFK route! The inflight product is like night and day compared to A380 and B787! I know one of the flights is going A380 in December but that still doesn't address the other flight. If they can't do 2x A380 then do a 1x A380 and 1x 787
