I have flown in the other direction AUH-CDG on the AF codeshare in Y. It is wet leased so it's an AF crew (with a few EY staff on board) and AF service. It's the only time i've flown AF long haul so i can't speak to whether it's better or worse than their usual service.

I flew EY38 in last week of August from CDG-AUH.
Checkin at Etihad counter.
A343 was the worst 340/330 I had set my foot on. Reg - F-GLZS. Seemed one of the first one delvd. to AF.
Crew was AF with some EY reps.
Entertainment was AF.
Food Service/Beverage Service was EY ---> Lousy meal, Lousy wine selection.
I flew IAD-AUH-IAD in May did not like their product.
AF (A380) product on IAD-CDG was much better. (esp meals and wine).
But EY38 was downright nasty.
