Plusgrade question
 

Hi. New member here. Had a quick question. Shortly after booking my flight i was offered to bid to upgrade my flight. I was just checking recently and saw that the confirmation number mentioned on my pending offer os different from my actual confirmation for my trip. Is this normal? If i check the reference from the plusgrade offer on etihad it shows nothing and says no booking found it might have been cancelled. When i put my original confirmation number my confirmed trip shows up without the upgrade. The offer still shows pending. Any feedback. Thanks.

All I can say is that if the offer is accepted, they will re-ticket and your e-ticket number will change. They will also take over "ownership" of the booking from a travel agent, if that's how you booked your flight in the first place. Might not matter to you, but an annoyance for me when I tried to change the return leg of a flight after PlusGrading the outbound and my travel agent told me they no longer had access to it.
