Etihad in Scotland

New to this forum, be gentle :D

Just wanted to know if theres any rumours / announcements of flights to/from Scotland (Edinburgh or Glasgow)?

Currently a reg on Emirates and wouldn't mind giving another airline a try to see how others are doing. Heard good things about Etihad and the only thing holding me back is that they don't seem to have any flights from Scotland. Nearest airport is in Manchester but why go all the way down there when Emirates is right at your doorstep and with a 2nd daily coming in June!

I walked past a travel agents window the other day - they were advertising various Etihad fares from Edinburgh. It didn't say when flights start though.
